Why this blog? good question.
Whenever I travel, if it is a long journey to the other end of the world or a short bike ride to the neighboring village, I always find that the people I meet make it a good or bad trip. You can see the greatest wonders of the nature or the most impressive feats of engineering. Be awestruck, impressed, mesmerized or simply blown away. But think about how you would experience and remember all that wonder if your tour guide is rude, the locals are unfriendly or the hotel staff indifferent.The best tips for where to go, where to eat and what to see come from locals. Colorful homegrown characters can tell you the most amazing stories about the area, stories which you won't find in any travel guide. And tagging along with them will often bring you priceless experiences and maybe a few new friends.
Through this blog I would like you to meet some of the people I come across during my travels. People I find interesting, intriguing or maybe just characters I have random encounters with.
